AyurCat contains the most potent herbal
concentrates available in Ayurvedic Science for feline healthcare. When formulated in the correct amounts and blended by our
proprietary process, AyurCat successfully improves your cat's immunity, reduces negative behavior (aggression,
fear, and anxiety), improves its appetite, restores fur and coat luster, and
removes harmful parasites and toxins that affect the longevity of your
favorite feline. This is achieved by rejuvenating the metabolic
mechanism that coordinates all the various chemical and hormonal reactions
of your cat's body, improving blood circulation, and supporting the delivery
of vital nutrients to replace the ones that
domesticated cats have lost during evolution. The destructive effect of
stomach acids on active herbal ingredients has prevented the introduction
of this ancient wisdom in capsule form for centuries. The team at India
Herbs has solved this problem by developing a potentiating formula in
conjunction with natural absorption catalysts and bioenhancing capsule
coating to prevent premature degradation of key constituents.
AyurCat nourishes and stimulates your cat's
muscles and connective tissues, endocrinal system, and nervous system to
promote good health. AyurCat removes metabolic and environmental
toxins by chelating and binding toxins, neutralizing them in the liver, and
supporting their removal through the excretory system. It
primes vital organs by ensuring that deoxygenated blood is always pumped
away quickly from healthy tissue and prevents infection at the time of
injury by improving blood-clotting factors. AyurCat prevents the breakdown of
collagen, elastin, and keratin while progressively reactivating your pet's
natural production of lipids and nourishing water content to engender
bright, lustrous, and thick fur. It supports anti-inflammatory
activities in your pet by increasing macrophages and mast cells that are
responsible for defense against foreign bodies that cause infection.
AyurCat tones the digestive tract and eliminates harmful parasites from the body. AyurCat
exerts a natural detoxification process at the cellular level to improve
your cat's health, appearance, and longevity.
Simply empty the contents of one AyurCat
capsule twice a day in meals to maintain and intensify these effects over
time.
AyurCat is a safe, proprietary selection
of special herbs renowned for their healing properties in felines. Concentrated
Extracts of these herbs have been blended in a powerfully effective
combination to increase assimilation and effective potency of each
ingredient while eliminating unwanted side-effects. Gathered from
throughout India, they include:
●
Mishreya -
Foeniculum Vulgare (Fennel)

The active constituents in Mishreya include estragole,
flavonoid
aglycons, flavonoid glycosides, and hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives. Mishreya
also contains antioxidants (quercetin,
rosmarinic acid, kaempferol, and caffeoylquinic acid) which foster
appetite in animals and can be used to treat parasitic infections and gastro-intestinal disorders. Mishreya
reduces intestinal spasms and increases the motility of the small intestines,
thereby improving bowel movement in cats.
●
Yashtimadhu -
Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice)

In Ayurveda, Yashtimadhu has been employed clinically for centuries for its
anti-ulcer and anti-microbial activities. It contains glycyrrhetinic acid and glycyrrhizin carbenoxolone which have
anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that contribute favorably to
liver-protecting effects in your cat. These constituents promote the
growth of healthy liver cells and protect the body
against premature and abnormal aging. The liver is your cat's largest
internal organ and is one of the most significant and complex organs that
are essential for life.
●
Amalaki -
Phyllanthus Emblica (Amla)

The principal constituents of Amalaki are cytokine-like substances
identified as zeatin, zeatin riboside, and zeatin nucleotide. This fruit is
one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C, containing up to 720 mg of
vitamin C per 100 g of fresh pulp and 921 mg per 100 cc of pressed juice.
This is approximately 20 times the vitamin C content of an orange. Vitamin
C is an antioxidant and acts as a substrate for ascorbate peroxidase which
is an enzyme that detoxifies peroxides to reduce oxidative damage to
biomolecules and cells. Vitamin C enhances the radiance of your cat's fur and skin by unifying the
healing and regenerative functions of collagen, elastin, and keratin (the
main protein structures of hair, skin, and nails). Vitamin C
intercepts and neutralizes free radicals before they cause damage.
Vitamin C is essential for life and is required to synthesize carnitine
which transfers energy
to the mitochondria (cellular power-plants). Amalaki is an
excellent herb for cats because it provides nourishment for natural and
healthy skin-cell growth and assists in repelling minor parasites.
●
Ashwagandha - Withania Somnifera (Ashwagandha)

Ashwagandha's
principal constituents are anaferine, psuedotropine, somniferine, somnine,
tropine, and withanine. These alkaloids show relaxant and anti-spasmodic
effects in vascular, bronchial, intestinal, tracheal, and uterine muscles of
cats. Ashwagandha also possesses antioxidant (superoxide dismutase,
catalase, and glutathione peroxidase) activity which supports healthy immune
systems in domestic animals. Researchers from Banaras Hindu University in
Varanasi, India, have discovered that these antioxidants reduce body stress,
enhance cognition, reduce inflammation, and aid in anti-aging actions in animals. Ashwagandha is an excellent blood purifier and enhances your cat's
immunity while reducing fatigue, promoting stamina, and general well-being,
especially in aging felines.
●
Shatavari
-
Asparagus
Racemosus (Shatavari)

The active constituent of Shatavari are saponins (Shatavarin I to IV). Shatavari is a rejuvenating herb that soothes the body and mind to relieve
stress, aggression, and fear in your cat, while strengthening and nourishing
its body tissues. It enhances the healing ability of the skin and
helps reduce scabbing quickly. When combined with other herbs,
Shatavari helps your cat deal with behavioral problems like aggression,
restlessness, and hyperactivity as well as fright and emotional stress caused by
unfamiliar people and environments.
●
Haritaki
-
Terminalia Chebula (Chebulic Myrobalan)

The principle and active ingredients in Haritaki are chebulinic acid and
corilagin. Traditionally, Haritaki has been widely used in Ayurveda
for purifying the blood. It is an adaptogen which possesses the
ability to immobilize mucus produced by respiratory problems. By
eliminating mucus, Haritaki removes the source of weakened immunity caused
by allergens and skin diseases. Further investigations on the mode of
action of these active
principles are being conducted to unravel the molecular mechanisms involved
in these observed effects.
●
Guduchi
-
Tinospora
Cordiofolia (Indian Tinospora)

The principal
constituents of Guduchi are tinosporine, tinosporide, and tinosporaside among other
alkaloids. Its
principal constituents are used for lowering body temperature and possess
anti-inflammatory and immuno-stimulant properties. Guduchi is used in Ayurvedic
rasayanas to improve overall health by
stimulating your pet's immune system to produce high antibody titers that help
fight infections.
Guduchi also acts against dandruff and pathogens that cause dermatitis in your
cat.
●
Arjuna
-
Terminalia Arjuna (Arjuna)

The active
constituents of Arjuna are ß-sitosterol, ellagic acid, and arjunic acid.
These compounds are beta-blockers (they slow heart rate) with powerful
antioxidants, anti-angina, anti-atheroma, and hypolipidemic properties.
Arjuna has been used in Ayurveda to treat coronary artery disease, heart
failure, hypercholesterolemia, and relief of angina pain. Studies of
cardiovascular disease in humans led researchers to study similar effects in
canines and felines. These studies concluded that both species are affected
by the same brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) and atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP)
that affects humans. The neurohormone BNP appears to have the most
influence in animals. BNP is a hormone produced by heart muscle cells
and is released into the bloodstream; it plays an important role in the regulation
of cardiovascular function. Plasma BNP levels can be used as
indicators to distinguish healthy cats from ones that have heart disease.
Arjuna offers cardio-protective properties for your cat by promoting its
production of BNP.
●
Lavanga - Syzygium
Aromaticum (Clove)

Lavanga has been used treat toothaches, mouth, throat infections, and
inflammation in cats. As a potent 4:1 ratio extract, it is used in combination with other herbs to treat parasitic infections in
animals. Oleanolic and crategolic
acids are the active principles of Lavanga. They are inducers of a detoxifying enzyme (glutathione S-transferase)
found in the liver and intestines. This enzyme inhibits chemical carcinogenesis in
your cat's biological system.
●
Brahmi
-
Centalla Asiatica (Gotu Kola)

The
antioxidants (terpenoids and bacosides) found in Brahmi strengthen blood
vessels and improve circulation. Brahmi increases
red blood cells which contain hemoglobin. Hemoglobin carries away carbon
dioxide from tissues, thus aiding in cell rejuvenation. Brahmi enhances the
synthesis of collagen, elastin, and keratin which are the main proteins in
the
connective tissues of mammals. It assists in building strong bones,
healthy teeth, and nails for your cat. Brahmi contains glycosides
which produce beneficial alterations in the neurochemistry of your cat's brain.
Through an active and complete detoxification process, immune health is
fortified and your cat becomes less prone to common infections. Brahmi
enhances healing and regeneration of the nerves and assists in repairing
skin damage caused by climatic conditions (such as the aging effects of
direct sunlight, wind, dryness, heat, and cold) and the normal wear and tear
on skin and fur.
These
ingredients comprise a Proprietary Blend that goes to work directly on the
endocrinal, musculoskeletal, and respiratory systems of your cat with positive
impact on health, appearance, and longevity.
